Q: When will I find out if I am accepted to the competition?
All applicants will receive a notification by email by July 18, 2025.
Q: Can I change the pieces I plan to perform?
Yes. In December, we will send a form to all accepted contestants to confirm your repertoire.
Q: Where is Denison University?
Denison University is located in the village of Granville, approximately 30 miles east of Columbus, Ohio. The closest airport is John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH). Driving directions can be found here.
Q: Where should I stay in Granville?
There are many lovely hotels in walking and short driving distance from Denison’s campus. Local accommodations are listed here. Note: all participants will qualify for a 20% discount at Cherry Valley Lodge (code will be provided after acceptance).
Q: If I don’t make the final round, can I attend on Sunday?
Yes, absolutely! We strongly encourage all participants to attend the final round auditions and to participate in the masterclass on Sunday.
Q: Can parents/guardians watch the competition and other program events?
Yes! Parents/guardians and all participants are welcome to watch the competition as well as the Saturday and Sunday masterclasses and the Saturday evening recital.
